Christopher

Hi, my name is Christopher. I am a big boy now. I was born in the spring of 2004. I moved to Alabama with my brother Alex in May of 2004. At first, I was the #1 between me and my brother. Now, he is so out of control I just let him be the #1. I have better things to worry about anyway, like thinking of new ways to get extra treats from mom.
I had to have hernia and colic surgery when I was 6 months old. Poor mom, she cried and cried. I was ok. Just hungry after the surgery when they would not let me have any food for a couple of days. Mom got a hotel right near the horsie hospital and stayed with me most of the time. They made fun of us because mom sat and read me bambi stories and I had pictures of cartoons hanging on the walls of my stall. The people that worked there thought we were a strange family. But we knew better.

Anyway, now that I am almost 2 mom and I have been doing what she calls ground work. I am not sure what all that means but one thing is for sure the treats are great! The only problem I seem to be having is allowing mom to walk me with the halter. I like to do it myself. I keep showing mom how I can put the rope in my mouth and just take myself for a walk. She keeps looking at me like she is confused. But I do it really good. One of these days I will have her take some pictures of me taking myself for a walk to send you.

Next summer, mom says I am going to give her a ride. I think that has something to do with that black truck I see around the farm but I am not sure. Anyway as long as treats are involved I will take anyone who wants for a ride.

But first, me and my brother are going to have some kind of procedure. It has something to do with the vet coming to our house and after he leaves we will be much better boys. I am excited. I like the idea of being a better boy. Mom likes better boys. She gives them more treats.

That’s about all I can think of to write about me. Maybe my brother will tell you something I forgot. Gotta go….its dinner time.

I'm growing into such a beautiful boy. I like to prance around showing off for the fillies.

I'm really young here. Yep they just gave me another bath. They must have thought I needed it.

I'm trying to look like one of Santa's reindeer. Do you think I accomplished it?
